Successfully defended the IESO, previously the Ontario Power Authority (OPA), against a $5M claim for breach of contract and related claims. Acted for the client before the Court of Appeal for Ontario and was successful in maintaining the trial decision on appeal. Resisted the plaintiff’s application for leave to appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada.
