Bio

Kiana graduated from the Faculty of Law at McGill University with degrees in common and civil law. She has returned to Conway as an articling student after working as a summer student with the firm last year.

Kiana aims to apply her wide-ranging curiosity to solving concrete problems. While in law school, Kiana worked as the Director of Research for the Legal Information Clinic at McGill, a bilingual, student-run clinic that provides free legal information to community members and students. She was also the Executive French Editor of the McGill Journal of Law and Health and a volunteer for the International Refugee Assistance Program’s McGill Chapter.

Prior to law school, Kiana obtained her Bachelor of Arts & Science in Cell/Molecular Biology and Philosophy from McGill University. During this time, she worked as a translation editor and a debate coach while spending her weekends at national and international debating competitions. She has since worked on various non-profit initiatives and campaigns, ranging from the development of youth civil engagement projects to the provision of material resources for refugee claimants settling in Canada.

Outside of the office, Kiana enjoys cooking with her friends, discovering new music, and trying out new hobbies she has very little talent for (she is currently attempting to learn roller-skating and music production).
