Bio

Thomas is a third-year BCL/JD student at McGill University, where he contributes research in human rights, constitutional, and Indigenous law. He also works part-time as a Gladue writer. Before law school, he completed degrees in Political Science and Philosophy.

This year, Thomas received the Maurice Alexander Scholarship for achieving the second-highest standing in second year and the Osgoode Society Legal History Book Prize for his work in legal history. Outside the classroom, he has worked as a student clerk at the Tribunal administratif du Québec and as a caseworker with the Legal Information Clinic at McGill. In 2026, he will complete his articles while clerking at the British Columbia Court of Appeal.

In his free time, Thomas enjoys cycling, fishing, and cheering on his favourite team, Arsenal FC. He looks forward to rediscovering the west end of Ottawa, where he grew up, and scouring the city for its best croissant.
