Rachel effortlessly combines savviness, creativity, and practicality to manage one of Ottawa’s preeminent boutique litigation firms. She is known as a problem solver and a people-person.
Rachel leads the firm as an experienced bilingual Managing Director with a long history of working in the legal services industry. She is skilled in human resources, budgeting, employee benefits design, office administration, payroll, facilities management and business development.
Rachel understands the business of law and that a firm thrives when there is a sense of common purpose, shared values, and a culture of assistance, cooperation, support, mutual respect, and encouragement. Her approach underscores that the key to a successful business is its people.
Prior to joining Conway, Rachel was the Managing Director of a national law firm in Ottawa. In that role, she served as a member of a national committee with a mandate to establish best practices in human resources throughout its offices across Canada.
In her prior professional life, Rachel was an accomplished musician and participated in international music competitions with a symphonic orchestra, while at the same time playing keyboard and singing in a rock band.
Rachel is passionate about travel and downhill skiing and loves to tell tales of the 50 countries she has visited.
