Insurance litigation: Counsel for condominium developer in claims against insurer

Representing a condominium developer in a factually complex action against its insurance company for over $50M after a fire destroyed a partially completed building project and the insurer denied the insured’s claim. Successfully applied to the court to have an insurer-initiated appraisal under s. 128 of the Insurance Act, RSO 1990, c I.8 permanently terminated in favour of a court action.
